11pm | My Favorite Time of Day
A really good time for me in New York City is after a long day of work. It's 11pm and the city is alive. It never stops. It is just people, all the time, walking around. Especially when the weather is nice.
When I am done, I take my apron off, say goodbye to my crew and I want to sit down for a mezcal and enjoy what is left of the day.
The bartenders are amazing, but my favorite bartender is Nacho. He knows that I love mezcal. He puts a big piece of ice in a glass, adds some mescal, and a piece of orange with chili pepper. I just sit down and enjoy it. Amazing music. Amazing ambience. The bartenders make you feel like you are home. I just love it.
